Two Tornadoes Went Across Dekalb County in North Alabama

There were two very big and powerful tornadoes went across Sand Mountain, April 27, killing more than thirty people in Dekalb County. With all the damage, it was miraculous that more people were not killed. The residents of Pells Gap are very thankful the tornadoes missed them.
There were many people in the community injured, many houses destroyed, and other property damage. The community is very appreciative for all the volunteers from many parts of the country that have come forward to help with supplies and manpower, with tools and materials to start re-building. The people from the community are very appreciative of assistance the from all over the country. If you would like to help, below is information on relief funds that has been set up to aid storm victims:

By the help of God we will recover, and be stronger. Thanks again for all your prayers and assistance.
