It is about 365 miles to the Gulf of Mexico and about 370 miles to the Atlantic Coast from Pells Gap.

Pells Gap has nearby air travel. Valley Aviation Inc. is just three miles away. There you can charter planes and helicopters, get flying lessons, and home of the Fort Payne Flying Club. There are also nearby airports at Chattanooga Metropolitan (50 miles), Huntsville International (60 miles), Birmingham International (85 miles), and Atlanta International (95 miles).

The Place to Retire
If you looking to retire now, Pells Gap is the place, and this is the right time. Where is the best place to retire? It would be great to just “Google it” start making plans. The best place for me, will not be best for you. You have to check out each thing that is important to you. If you have a reason to relocate when you retire, you need to make an informed decision.
