We are developing Pells Gap Estates in phases. The first two phases have been surveyed (53 lots), streets completed, water, and electricity installed. Twenty-three lots have been sold and eight homes have been built. The home owners’ association was organized in 2005 and the sixth annual meeting was last month. There are three more phases planned to begin when the economy improves. The subdivision will be more than 80 acres with about one mile along the east brow of Sand Mountain located just outside Fort Payne, AL, city limits.
