Food for thought  Christianity is based on love your enemy, do good for evil. Just remember it is no our job to rid the world of evil, God is working on that problem. We need to help our neighbor. We need to ask God to deliver us from evil and forgive our enemies. That is the love of God and that is what it takes to brake the cycle of hate and revenge. That is what it takes to turn the world around and set it right.

Food for thought
“If you want world peace, work for justice”. That is a very good goal but what is meant by work for justice? First working for justice does not mean taking vengeance. Working for justice means making sure we give good measure. Doing the right thing. We don’t ask for justice for ourselves, we need mercy.

Two Tornadoes Went Across Dekalb County in North Alabama

There were two very big and powerful tornadoes went across Sand Mountain, April 27, killing more than thirty people in Dekalb County. With all the damage, it was miraculous that more people were not killed. The residents of Pells Gap are very thankful the tornadoes missed them.
There were many people in the community injured, many houses destroyed, and other property damage. The community is very appreciative for all the volunteers from many parts of the country that have come forward to help with supplies and manpower, with tools and materials to start re-building. The people from the community are very appreciative of assistance the from all over the country. If you would like to help, below is information on relief funds that has been set up to aid storm victims:
